The Author Management system in TonaPik enables administrators to effectively oversee and regulate the contributors who submit digital assets to the platform. Authors are not manually created by the admin; instead, users must apply to become authors by fulfilling certain predefined requirements determined by the admin.

  • Author Application Process :
Users can apply to become an author through a dedicated form that adheres to predefined conditions (e.g., required documents, portfolio links, profile details).
After submission, applicants are marked as Pending Authors.
Admin reviews these applications and takes an action—approve or reject—based on the fulfillment of the stated requirements.
  • Author Status Control :
Pending Authors can be approved if they meet all predefined requirements.
If requirements are unmet or unsuitable, the admin may reject the application.
Admin can ban approved authors at any time for rule violations or misconduct.
Unban functionality allows previously banned authors to be reinstated.
Only approved authors can access the asset submission system.
  • Author Monitoring :
Admin can view the total number of assets submitted by each author, directly from the author list.
This gives a clear summary of each author's activity level and contribution.
  • Login as Author :
Admin has the option to log in as an author to inspect their interface and assist with issues or verifications.
This is useful for support and direct oversight of specific author activities.

The Author Management feature in TonaPik allows for structured intake of new authors based on predefined qualifications, ensuring quality control from the very beginning. Admins are empowered with complete authority to monitor, approve, suspend, and assist authors for a smooth and professional content contribution environment.
